SAMSUNG Galaxy S10 Lite – Full Review

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is the newest addition to the S10 lineup. This is a very capable phone and is certainly one of the best phones of its time. It can be compared to many high end phones and has an advantage of more reasonable price.

The S10 Lite looks just as good as any of the S10 phones. It has a nicely curved and elegant design. The one thing you will notice is a different camera setup than on regular S10. The phone is built very solid and it’s also bigger than regular S10. It’s almost as big as the S10+ for that matter. However, it is made out of slightly cheaper materials. For starters, the back is made out of plastic, which curves into the aluminum frame. The front is covered with Gorilla Glass 3+, which is good, but regular S10 has Gorilla Glass 5 which offers better protection.

The phone features 6.7 inch super AMOLED display. The resolution is not as high as on regular S10, as it only features 1080p, compared to 1440p of the S10. However, the content still looks great. The colours are pretty accurate and everything appears to run smoothly. The phone also supports HDR10+ and features an Always on display, which is useful for anyone that likes to keep track of time and notifications. The cool thing about this phone is a very fast fingerprint reader. There is practically no delay.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset, which is paired with Adreno 640 graphics processing unit. The GPU is very fast, and the components in general have a very good status of high end products. The phone in general is very fast and works well for all sorts of tasks. That includes gaming. However, for heavy gaming, a better version would be Snapdragon 888 chipset. But this one is still very capable and the phone will be able to run just about any game. Galaxy S10 Lite can have either 6 GB of RAM, or 8 GB of RAM. Furthermore, there is also difference in storage capacity, as you can get 128 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. For gaming and other heavy use, we recommend you find a version with 8 GB of RAM.

The phone has a triple camera setup. It has a 48 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera and a very cool 5 MP macro camera. However, there is no telephoto camera here, like we have seen on the other versions. Still the main camera is very good and has a super steady OIS. Photos taken during the day have a good dynamic range, great colours and are very sharp in general. There is a hit of noise around the corners, but for non-professionals, that should not be a problem, as these are just minor details and are barely noticeable. Night shots have well developed highlights and shadows; however, the quality of low light photography is not as good as on other versions of this phone. Still, the camera still performs rather well and average users will not see it so much as a problem. However, if you intend to d a lot of photography with this phone, such details might bother you. The phone allows you to make 4K footages at 30 fps or 60 fps. Videos look surprisingly good and the resolution is quite high. The camera captures a lot of detail. The sharpness and overall quality are extremely well.

Galaxy S10 Lite has an impressive battery life. It is equipped with 4500 mAh non-removable battery which can last over 110 hours on a full charge. The phone comes with a fast 25W charger, which can have your phone at full power in no more than 1 hour. The battery is certainly excellent and is one of the strongest selling points of this phone.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a very good phone and you should definitely consider buying it. despite that is not the newest model of Samsung phones, it’s still one of the top horses. You get an extreme price/quality ration and the battery is just impressive. So we would definitely recommend you this phone. It won’t let you down.
