Overall rating

I evaluated the phones based on several factors such as hardware, battery life, display resolution and size, and even customer reports and feedbacks about some potential problems with a particular phone. All the features were then combined into a single score number which was a basis for my buying decision. However, keep in mind that these scores are based on my personal decision and can differ from other ratings you may find online.

I taught it would be an interesting thing to include in this post as it may help make you a decision as well.

Detailed Review

Samsung Galaxy S22 is for sure one of the best phone for Battlefield Mobile.

The 6.8 inches dynamic AMOLED display is simply outstanding. It is actually the maximum size for a smartphone. Because the long sides are gently curved, the display appears borderless when viewed from the front. The resolution is extra fine at 3088 x 1440 pixels, as is the display quality.

While Qualcomm's top SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from 2022 is installed in the USA, Samsung's own production Exynos 2200 is used in the models sold in Europe. For the first time, it relies on an RDNA2 graphics architecture from AMD. The GPU, called Xclipse, supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which hasn't been seen on smartphones before either. According to Samsung, "mobile gaming at console level" is possible.

What sounds promising looks different in reality: In synthetic benchmarks, the S22 Ultra is clearly above its predecessor, but it doesn't come close to an iPhone 13 Pro. The S22 Ultra with a Qualcomm SoC also achieves better values, especially in graphics-heavy benchmarks. But all benchmarks aside the phone with both chip versions is a powerhouse and you will never experience any lagging even with the most demanding games.

The S22 Ultra is the Swiss Army knife for photographers - you always have the right tool at hand. But as is often the case with a universal tool: it is not perfect. The main camera pleases with excellent (108 megapixels) or very good (12 megapixels) image quality in brightness, and also performs excellently in low light. The telephoto modules impress with optimal light and complement each other perfectly. And finally the super-wide-angle module: very solid even in low light conditions.

Whether you are considering this phone for its cameras of performance, you won't be disappointed in any case.

WHAT WE LIKED
  • Faster S Pen built-in
  • Super bright display
  • Cameras offer better low light performance
  • Faster 45W charging
WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED

Key Features

Apple A15 Bionic (5 nm)

iPhone 13 Pro has an Apple A15 Bionic (5 nm) chipset with Hexa-core (2x3.22 GHz Avalanche + 4xX.X GHz Blizzard).

 Super Retina XDR OLED display
This 6.7 '' Super Retina XDR OLED display delivers a 120hz refresh rate with an excellent 1200 NITs of max brightness.
Li-Ion 3095 mAh battery

Fast charging (23W, unofficial rating). Apple's 20-watt charger gets the phone from 50% in 30 min

The iPhone 13 pro max's outward design hasn't changed very much. The phone has glass on the front and back, along with a shiny stainless steel frame. The layout is otherwise unchanged too, the notch is a smidge smaller and the camera bump is just a little larger. That's the biggest change that you'll see, but if you pick the iPhone 13 pro max up you will notice that it's heavier than before, weighing 240 grams, which is pretty heavy for a smartphone.

The 13 pro max can survive up to 6 meters underwater for 30 minutes. The display's cover glass, the ceramic shield by corning, once again offers some of the best protection in the industry, though it will shatter and scratch if you abuse it. The screen itself it's a 6.7" (OLED, 1284x2778,120Hz refresh rate) with a pixel density of 458 PPI. For the first time, Apple is introducing a high 120-hertz refresh rate on its phones. Some games can't fully utilize it just yet, but aside from that, the feature is executed very well. The display can drop down to as little as 10 hertz and then jump up to 120hz on the fly, depending on whether you're touching the screen and the current content. It has a wide color gamut and pretty much flawless color accuracy. With an excellent 1050 nits in auto-brightness, this is one of the brightest panels on the market.

CAMERA:

The biggest update with the pro max model this year must be the cameras. All three rear cameras have been improved. The 12 megapixel main sensor has larger pixels than before, the largest single pixels in a smartphone in fact. The 12-megapixel telephoto now has optical three times zoom instead of 2.5 times. The 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor lets in more light and now has autofocus so it can double as a macro cam. There is a lighter scanner too and it helps the three cameras with depth maps for better portraits and faster autofocus. In low light only the selfie camera is the same 12 megapixel unit as before. During the day the 13 pro max takes very good photos with the main camera and of course, they have a very iPhone-like flavor. Colors are accurate, detail is good and noise is non-existent.

CHIPSET:

The iPhone 13 pro arrives with Apple's latest A15 Bionic, 6GM RAM chipset. The phone is equipped with 6GB of RAM versus 4GB of RAM on the non-pro models. Performance-wise the pro max is way ahead of its Android competition, its closest rivals are actually last year's iPhones. The new chipset improves last year's performance by 10% and it is the fastest chipset in a phone to date. The one concern we do have is that the GPU was quick to throttle and we would have liked to see a better-sustained performance. The 13 pro max comes with ios 15.

AUDIO:

The audio quality from its speakers was similarly impressive. The iPhone 13 pro max has a bottom-firing speaker and it uses its earpiece as a second channel. The speakers are among the best sounding speakers that you can get on a phone.

BATTERY:

The MAX comes with a 4352 mAh battery, which is the biggest one that Apple has ever put in an iPhone. The 13 PRO MAX has a 121-hour battery life. This phone will likely survive a full day or two of heavy usage. Unfortunately the iPhone ships without a charger. Using Apple's 20-watt charger, the 13 pro max goes from 0% to 42% in half an hour. The phone supports charging up to 27 watts, so if you get a more powerful adapter you can get up to 55% in half an hour.

CONCLUSION:

The screen is fantastic. the stereo speakers are great. Performance is still unmatched and the battery life is simply class-leading. Photo and video quality is great across the board too, but is this the most innovative phone ever? Hardly, but it offers a very solid experience in pretty much every department and of course, it's the best iPhone ever, so if you're upgrading from an iPhone that is older than the iPhone 12 pro, we definitely recommend it.

Powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset easily handles even more demanding games
Battery
Outstanding battery life

Detailed Review

Motorola Moto G100 is another great more affordable gaming phone. It is powered by Snapdragon 870 and Adreno 650, an improved version of last year's flagship Snapdragon 865.

One could say that it is the next best thing after Snapdragon 888. It comes with 8 or 12 GB of RAM.

It has a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. This is still ok though you can already get an AMOLED 120 Hz display at this price point.

Also, it is worth noting that the display has two punch holes which can be kind of distracting when playing games or watching videos.

The battery is quite large with 5000 mAh capacity and it does last very long. Sadly, the phone only supports 20 W fast charging.

Even despite some drawbacks, it is still a very capable phone that will not require you to break the bank. Therefore we recommend it as one of the best phones best phone for Battlefield Mobile.

Key Features

Incredible Price/Performance Ratio
You get an incredibly powerful phone at a very affordable price.
Big display
The 6.67-inch display is pretty good. Especially at this price point. And it offers a 120 Hz refresh rate which is a noticeable improvement.
Powerful chipset
Snapdragon 860 is a powerful chipset and also one of the main reasons to consider this phone

Detailed Review

Poco X3 PRO and F3 are probably the best budget phones best phone for Battlefield Mobile currently available on the market.

Poco X3 PRO comes with a 6.67 inch IPS LCD screen that also features a high refresh rate. Usually, you will find a 120 Hz refresh rate on more premium phones, but this one has it too. This basically makes scrolling, watching videos, and gaming super smooth and brings other benefits regarding display. There is also support for HDR10 and the phone features a Full HD resolution.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon 860 with Adreno 640 and is actually the only one to feature this chipset. It offers some of the best performance in its class. Compared to Galaxy A52 with Snapdragon 720G, the Poco X3 PRO just blows it out of the water. In terms of gaming performance, it is two times more powerful than Samsung's mid-ranger. And it is much cheaper too. In fact, the phone can outperform almost all other mid-rangers.

You will most likely find a version with 6 GB of RAM, although there is a possibility of finding one with 8 GB. The 6 GB version is enough for everyday tasks and also for playing the most demanding games. You can still go for the 8 GB version which makes your phone a little more future-proof. The 6 GB version comes with 128 GB of storage and the 8 GB version can come either with 128 or 256 GB of storage. It does also offer a microSD card expansion so you don't need to worry about running out of space.

The Poco X3 PRO has a large 5160 mAh battery and supports up to 33 W charging. It will take about 30 min to replenish 60% of the battery capacity, which is pretty good.

Another option, Xiaomi Poco F3, costs a bit more but improves in all areas. It still has 6.67 inches 120 Hz display but it is AMOLED, supports HDR10+, and can achieve greater brightness. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 870 and Adreno 650, which is an improved version of Snapdragon 865. One could say that it is the next best thing after Snapdragon 888. It comes with 6 or 8 GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, Poco F3 is not available in all countries. I added the links below to where the phone is available.

WHAT WE LIKED
  • Outstanding value for the money
  • 6.67-inch display 120 Hz display is amazing. Especially considering the price point
  • Snapdragon 860 chipset is capable of running even the most demanding modern games smoothly
  • Long autonomy provided by a large 5160 mAh battery
WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED
  • It will get hot when playing demanding games. If possible we recommend playing without the silicon case for better heat dissipation
  • Fast charging with 33 W also heats up the phone. This is normal but we don’t recommend playing any games while charging to avoid double heating

Detailed Review

Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra are another great phones best phone for Battlefield Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy S21 has a full HD resolution and features a dynamic display with a refresh rate as high as 120 Hz. However, it can drop to as much as 48 Hz, depending on what you are doing. The S21 display measures 6.2 inches while the Ultra version has a massive 6.8-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy S21 works on Snapdragon 888 processor and is paired with Adreno 660 GPU. Alternatively, it can be powered by Exynos 2100 processor. In that case, it is equipped with Mali-G78 MP14 GPU. What type of processor and GPU you get really depends on where you live.

While in the past Snapdragon chipsets significantly outperformed Exynos in terms of battery life, heat and performance, this is no longer the case. In the last couple of years, Samsung's Exynos chipsets have almost caught up with Qualcomm and are now behind only by a thin hair.

Needless to say, both chipsets will handle even the most demanding games without any lag or stuttering.

The regular version comes with 8 GB of RAM and again this is more than enough for any modern game. If you are a super heavy user and need more, the Ultra version comes either in 12 or 16 GB version.

The battery on S21 is a modest 4000 mAh. Gaming for extended periods will suck up the juice quite quickly. Again, the Ultra version improves in this area with a 5000 mAh battery capacity.

To sum up. The S21 is a very decent gaming phone that should be enough for most users. Especially if you are not a fan of super big screens. On the other hand, you still have the Ultra version which is a beast of gaming phone and also excels in everyday tasks too.

WHAT WE LIKED
  • Snapdragon 888 is, aside from A14 Bionic, the most powerful chipset currently on the market
  • Appealing and modern design
  • Great AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz – fluent gaming experience
  • Nice everyday use experience thanks to the One UI
WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED
  • Rather small 4000 mAh battery on the regular version. For extended battery life, we recommend the Ultra version with 5000 mAh
  • Snapdragon 888 is known to sometimes have thermal throttling issues
