SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 10+ – Full Review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is a more premium version of Note 10 phone, which means it’s more expensive as well. It is definitely an upgrade, as you get more features and the phone is bigger than the standard Note 10. This is one of the top phones in terms of performance, camera quality, and battery life.

Galaxy Note 10+ is a beautiful and well-designed phone. The aluminum frame is thinner, which makes it easier to hold than previous models. The back of the phone is made out of Gorilla Glass 6 and is a sort of metallic silver color. However, it erupts into many bright and shiny colors when it catches some light. The front is also covered with Gorilla Glass 6, which offers quite good protection on its own, as it is resistant to falls on rough and hard surfaces from up to 5.2 feet, which is about 1.6 meters. One of the top changes in design is that they moved the power button to the left. This was most likely done for the purposes of S Pen incorporation.

The main feature here is the S Pen and it works particularly well. It is very responsive and accurate, so it feels like you are using a regular pen on a piece of paper. Moreover, you can control the thickness and style of your writing. You can even use S Pen as a remote control, using simple gestures. This comes in handy when using the camera. You just set your phone and then you can control the camera remotely, by moving the S Pen clockwise or counterclockwise. It’s also very useful when listening to music, as you don’t need to touch the volume button anymore. You simply turn the volume up or down using simple gestures. Another very awesome feature with S Pen is the possibility to draw in 3D with AR Doodle. You simply open your camera, draw anything you want and the camera will track your creations automatically, so they will remain fixed on the subject.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ features a much bigger screen than regular Note 10. Here the screen measures 6.8 inches, which means that is 0.5 inches bigger. The screen is also slightly curved, which gives it a very elegant effect. Just like other models, it features a dynamic AMOLED display. Also, the resolution on 10+ is better than the one on regular Note 10 and comes to as high as 1440p, compared to 1080p on Note 10. There is also an always-on-display feature, which offers the same benefits as on Note 10. It can be useful, as you don’t have to turn on your phone to check the time or notifications.

If you are interested in a good gaming phone, then you should definitely look into this one.  Note 10+ has an advanced processor and vapor-chamber cooling to bring you the best gaming experience. It also might interest you that the Note 10+ has more RAM than Note 10, so it is probably a better choice if you are looking for a phone that can support cool new games. In terms of numbers, Galaxy Note 10+ has 12 GB of RAM whether regular Note 10 has 8 GB. So your game will run much smoother on 10+. Now the two most important factors here are processor and GPU (graphic processing unit). The phone is powered by either Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825, depending on where you live. The graphic processing unit is Mali-g76 MP12, which is a pretty much high-end graphics card. Alternatively, it can also be Adreno 640, which also offers excellent performance. So to say, this is definitely a good gaming phone. Another really cool thing is that you can actually use the S Pen like a magic wand in certain games, making the experience much more realistic. A large battery also supports and prolongs your gaming time.

The camera setup looks pretty much the same as on a regular Note 10. However, the standard version is missing some features that Galaxy Note 10+ has. But to start with the basics, Note 10+ has a 12 MP main camera with Dual Pixel PDAF. It also has a 16 MP ultra-wide camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The camera produces shots with little noise and a lot of detail. The dynamic range is very good and the image processing is excellent. It is surprising just how well it works in low light and night photography. It captures a lot of detail and the colors are just amazing and very accurate. We also noticed that shots made in portrait mode are much better on Note 10+ than on the regular version. One thing that 10+ has than regular Note 10 is missing is Tof 3D (time of flight). This gives better depth in photos and you can also make some cool 3D shots.

Video quality is above standard. You can make 4K videos at 30 fps or 60 fps, which in general all look pretty decent. The colors look good, you capture a lot of detail and the dynamic range is good as well. You also get a “Super steady mode”, which allows excellent stabilization that will make your videos look very smooth while you are moving.

Battery life is extremely good. The phone is equipped with a 4300 mAh battery, which can last over 100 hours. It features fast 45W charging as well as wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. You can be at full power in about 30 minutes.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is a remarkable phone that can support all your needs. If we compare it to regular Note 10 we definitely see, that 10+ has more features and is a bit better. However, we leave it up to you to decide. New features are amazing, but you have to think about how much do you really need them and more importantly, are you willing to pay extra money for them. However, if you do decide to purchase this phone, you are not going to regret it.
