5 Best Tablets for NFT Art in 2022 – A Complete Guide

Best Tablets for NFT Art
Drawing Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT

NFTs are taking the world by storm, and more and more money is coming into the NFT markets. The NFTs are instruments that can finally allow digital artists to successfully protect their art and efficiently monetize it. In this article, we will cover what tablets are best suited for creating unique NFT art, but before that let’s open with a quick introduction to the vast world of NTFs.

Great artists focus on one thing: their creations. Musicians spend months searching for perfect harmony or lyrics, architects belabor the most minute details on their building plans, and painters search for the ideal place for their last stroke. But once they finish their masterpieces, successful artists must also figure out how to monetize them while likewise protecting their provenance and future value.

That’s where the NFTs come in. Non‐fungible tokens (NFTs), which in their most basic form are unique digital collectibles secured by the blockchain. NFTs are generally known as a particular type of digital collectibles, such as digital art, a digital trading card, or a short video. But what exactly are NFTs?

NFTs are unique items verified and secured by a blockchain, the same technology used for cryptocurrencies. An NFT provides authenticity of origin, ownership, uniqueness (scarcity), and permanence for any particular item. Let’s break the term non‐fungible token down a piece at a time.

Token – When speaking about certain cryptocurrencies, people often use the terms coin and token interchangeably. But that would be wrong because there is an important distinction. Cryptocurrencies that are coins, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum, have their own respective blockchains. In contrast, tokens are cryptocurrencies that don’t have their own blockchains. Instead, tokens utilize another coin’s blockchain.

Non‐fungible – Fungible is an adjective that means “(especially of goods) being of such nature or kind as to be freely exchangeable or replaceable, in whole or in part, for another of like nature or kind.”

It is a very useful addition that can enhance user experience. Both writing and drawing feel very natural and above all, the pen is very accurate.
12.4 inch display

Large display makes watching movies more enjoyable.

Detailed Review

Samsung Galaxy FE products are known to put emphasis on the features that fans loved the most at regular Galaxy models and bring them in a new improved package.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE combines the strong points of both Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus from the previous year.

It feels just as premium when you hold it as the previous models. It has a unibody made out of brushed aluminum and a 12.4 inch TFT LCD display.

This could actually be considered as a downgrade as the previous flagships featured an AMOLED display. However the colors are very accurate, the blacks are quite deep for an LDC and the brightness is pretty high too. So in fact this is still a great display even for drawing where the colors should be as accurate as possible.

The two front speakers have Dolby Atmos support and are tuned by AKG so listening to music and or watching videos is an absolute pleasure. The quality of the sound is rich and clear, even at higher volumes.

While the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus are both powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus the FE version features a less powerful mid-range Snapdragon 750G. Overall experience is still smooth but honestly, if you want the best performance the previous models are notably faster.

The tablet comes with Stylus support but the bundled S-pen is passive, not active. However, you still get all the features you will ever need. Let it be taking notes or drawing. The low latency of the pen makes it feel like you are drawing or writing on a real piece of paper. Impressive!

While the FE version cuts some corners it is much more affordable than the last year’s models. The Samsung Galaxy S7 FE is definitely one of the best tablets in terms of  “bang for the buck” and rightfully on the list of the best tablets for NFT Art.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset.

 Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+
This 14.6 ” Super AMOLED display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate with an excellent 1848 x 2960 pixels.
11,200mAh Li-Ion battery

Fast charging (45W). Samsung fast charger gets the phone to 100% in 82 min

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is huge! It has a 14.6-inch screen and it also includes a pen and extraordinary specs. This is the best android tablet on the market right now and below we will look at the tabs details & it’s unique features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra stands out with its 14.6”  Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+ display. It is just beautiful with absolutely great colors. The brightness works well in low light and it does really well in really bright light situations too.

Inside the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, you have the latest Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm). The amount of RAM is depending on which model you get. Here are the different versions: 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM.

Along the back we have two cameras – one is a wide-angle lens and the other one is an ultra-wide-angle lens. At the front, we also have a dual-camera setup, one of those is a wide-angle lens and the other one is an ultra-wide. These cameras can shoot up to 4K at 60 fps.

The stereo speakers sound fantastic and battery life, in general, is pretty solid. The capacity of the battery is about 7 hours of standard use. It is a big battery and it does, fortunately, support fast charging if you have a fast charger.

With no extra cost, you also get an S-pen. This is a really good pen. It’s pretty much the same pen we saw last year, but there is one important upgrade and that is the latency. They’ve knocked this down to two milliseconds. The latency does sound impressive and when you combine it with a 120 hertz refresh rate on the display, it should be imperceptible. The pen does have a battery for some extra bluetooth features. If the pen’s battery dies, it still works for all the basic drawing functionalities.

The tab also comes with the second screen feature. It allows you to use your galaxy tab as a second screen for your windows computer (mirror your display or to set it up as an extended display).

To conclude, this tablet fits the description of ultra. It’s not for everybody, it’s bigger & it’s heavier than other tablets. If you’re looking for something that you can just casually draw on it’s probably a little bit too big. The key audience is someone who wants a laptop replacement or at least the best laptop replacement that android can provide. The price seems expensive, but if look at everything you’re getting here, the quality of every little thing across the board whether we’re talking about the screen or the speakers or the drawing experience is phenomenal.

WHAT WE LIKED
  • Very good chipset.
  • Great battery life.
  • Amazing value for the price you pay
WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED
  • Pricey

Detailed Review

Microsoft Surface Go 3 is a great tablet that was just released not long ago. It comes with preinstalled Windows 11, so working with this tablet might feel very familiar to some of you.

It features a 10.5-inch display, with a 1920 x 1280 resolution. Additionally, you will find that battery is surprisingly good here and can last through the entire day. Another big plus is an amazing built-in Dolby Audio that’s perfect for online classes, music, audiobooks, and your favorite shows.

Moreover, you will have the option of choosing between two versions. One has 4GB of RAM and the other has 8GB. Probably 4GB will be sufficient for most of you. However, if you intend on tackling very complex tasks or heavy gaming, 8GB might be more up your alley.

The tablet is just perefect for every task there is. It is appropriate for everyday use, work, and even gaming. Working with this tablet is very efficient and easy. There are a lot of new tools. Build

As far as design goes, this tablet looks very aesthetic. This model is actually bigger than last year’s iPad Pro 11. It is also a bit heavier, too. Regarding its build, Apple iPad Pro 12.9 is mostly made out of aluminum, with a glass front.

Display

The tablet features a really good Liquid Retina XDR display that delivers the best results. You will see just how much of an improvement was made by Apple. This display is way better than any other LCD monitor. It can capture a higher level of detail, as well as brighter highlights and darker darks. Additionally, it also has a 120Hz refresh rate for that smooth effect.

You will also be able to take pretty good photos with a 12 MP main camera with dual-pixel PDAF. In addition, you will also get a 10 MP ultrawide camera and a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner for accurate depth measurement. As far as video goes you can make 4K videos at various fps (24/25/30/60fps). In general, the camera capabilities are very good although there is some room for improvement.
